This week our friend, and Chris' future co-worker, Dre was in town from Michigan & we went to a USC basketball game. Basketball is one of the sports i actually enjoy. It was fun to see Dre & hang out. We were amazed at the PRIDE USC students & alumni have--everyone (but us) was DECKED OUT for the game! Even Dre & his mom (Dre did his undergrad at USC). It was basketball, which isn't their "big" sport like football and people still came showing their colors.
We will probably start going to more games (volleyball, etc. ) because we had so much fun.
I can handle sports when I am there, but I still struggle with watching them on tv--unless its basketball.
Side note: Chris is almost a USC Alum! 2 1/2 months to go!

Yeah, not long after I got off the phone with Chris, I drove by you guys down there and noticed two things: There were a lot of empty seats at the bball game as viewed from the 110 and the USC campus is a freaking fortress (due of course to it's placement in South Central)
college games are always fun to go to. I can't believe Chris is graduating soon. You guys deserve it!
My kid goes to school in South central!? Actually i knew that. When the kids were little I always took them down there to go to the huge Imax theatre and all the museums! Remeber that Chris?
Sounds like a blast! I do better with sports when I am there too. ESPN just starts sounding like, "blah blah blah" after about 10 minutes. Anyway, we TOTALLY need to hang out, I miss you!
Did you know that DJ has Trojan Pride?? I'm not exactly sure where it started but he loves his Trojans and knows lots of trivia about their football team. We have a USC blanket and he used to have a USC sticker on his car window.
So, are you going to be around this coming week? 'Cause I am there!!! I will be there Friday, and I am pretty sure that I am having dinner with Aunt Linda on Sunday... I want to see you!!!!!
