The Physical Toll of Law School
Welcome to the "spike and mari" blog. It was originally called the "Spike and Dizzle" blog, until my better half vetoed that idea. Anyway, as you all know, I am now more than half-way through law school at USC. I thought it would be appropriate to chronicle the physical changes law school has wrought upon my body. As you can all see, law school has taken a physical toll on me. My belly has grown, my tan disappeared (some would say along with my personality), my face constantly is partially bearded, and apparently I can't keep my eyes open for a picture. All I can say is, poor Mari!

That is hilarious! I love the last picture. I'm not in law achool and I'm starting to get fat. At least you have an excuse. I'm so excited that you guys did a 5k, you should sign up for another one now so you have something to work toward. They become addicting. Anyway, you don't look bad so be nice to yourself.

Haha! Nice post Chris. I only wish I had your excuse. Saying "law school made me unattractive" is a lot better than having to admit that your unattractive because you were just born that way...

Poor Mari my butt! She will be laughing all the way to the mall, the nail salon and the car dealership in a year and half! But it would be nice if you hit the gym a little more often...she would probably appreciate it. But I love you no matter what! ~ Mom
BTW you took pictures with your eyes closed before law school. Look at every photo since you were about 16. It's a Forrest Gump thing... Mom
I can't tell a difference. Mari still looks pretty and you still look like someone I'd ask about Emo music.
We don't think you look fat but you can give some of it to Nate. I'm trying to fatten him up! Anyways glad you guys have a blog. Nate says hi!
