I'm making a list. Next week is surgery & after pre-op today I've learned that I will not be able to drive for 5 weeks. AWESOME! Not. So, tonight during my single-wifehood I've been thinking of movies that I'd like to stock up on. If you have any suggestions, by all means!
I always like old movies when I catch them on tv, but I haven't seen very many of them all the way through... so I'm planning on seeing some of these old chick flicks:
The Philledelphia story
Casa Blanca
Breakfast at Tiffany's
An Affair to Remember
Barefoot in the Park
As well as Sabrina, Gone with the Wind, Girls Just wanna Have fun, Pretty in Pink, Thelma & Louise, etc.
I fear I may gain 50lbs during my immobile state but at least I'll be watching great movies!

Um, I know I've not seen or talked to you in a while, surgery? Hope all goes well. Been thinking about you while surfing design blogs. So fun. You are just the cutest Mari. Put Now Voyager on your list, my personal fave. XOXO

Awwe Mari..Goodluck with your surgery! I miss you!! We'll be praying for you and a speedy recovery. And Make sure you do watch Casablanca..It's always been one of my favorites.
Oh and I just remembered the name of another great movie..Brigadoon. (Not sure if that's the right spelling), but that is definitely one of me and my dad's favorites. Highly recommended.
I will come! With list and quite possibly stash in hand. :) It will be ok- :) Love you.

What kind of surgery are you having? 5 weeks of immobility, yuck!! You have some great movies picked out, so enjoy, relax, and we'll be wishing you a speedy recovery!
Why are you having surgery? hope everything is ok, good luck! with the surgery and the recovery afterwards!!
Maybe movies to watch: Say Anything, Serendipity (I love anything John Cusak though!), The English Patient, Chocolate, Some Like It Hot, Princess Bride, Emma, Pride and Prejudice, Anne of Green Gables...
And I always like to get tv series to watch when I have a lot of down time.
Good luck with the surgery!
