Poor Courtney's bowl broke twice so she had to make a plateMy finished product! The art studio paints them, so in a week we will get the completed project!
For Steve's birthday the Spiker clan went down to Venice to take a Peach Tree Pottery class. This cute little art studio was hard core, our instructor even said "Im a Potter, not a Magician!"
We had a fun time, making our bowls & playing with clay! I am so glad I got to go, I have never done this before & I had so much fun! I love doing new things.

It really was fun. Next time we are in UT together we need to take a pottery class at the Art Shack at Sundance. It is way more laid back and fun. You would love it!v
I'm so impressed with your bowl! It's beautiful! Way to go, Harry Potter!
Why thank you Ms. Jennifer. I can't wait to see it painted! I picked a purple-ish color.
& Court, I am IN!
What a unique birthday activity. Oh, just a question...has Chris been taking photo posing lessons from my little Jacob? The "gangsta" sign looks vaguely familiar.
You have totally inspired me to want to do this! How fun! Your little bowl is so cute.
You know what I just realized? I should have totally named this Mari, Mari Potter! DANG IT!

This looks so fun! It reminds me of Mr. Swallows class at Cherry Hill, do you remember him!?
That looks like such a blast! Just wondering, is this something Steve has always wanted to do, or did you just all go for fun??? The instructor sounds hilarious too! Glad you had a great time!
Steve has done it before, Linda just wanted to surprise him with a class for his birthday!
